Astral Spore Pendant
Astral Spore Pendant
Create a geometric pendant with Quarter Tila Beads! The Astral Spore Pendant features a collection of Quarter Tila beads and Japanese seed beads all in one tactile pendant. This hollow design follows the geometry of an icosidodecahedron; a close relative of dodecahedron with room for 12 bumpy embellishments. Matching fringe with dagger bead dangles compliment the main pendant which is finished with a matching bail. This piece measures 1.5 in diameter and 3.5 long, and you can string it on your favorite cord, chain, or silk ribbon!
This pattern is appropriate for beaders who are already proficient in right-angle weave (RAW) and who would like the challenge of incorporating Quarter Tila beads into a 3D variation of this stitch. Beaders who have stitched the Succulent Topiary Pendant or the Fiberoptic Dodecahedron are in great shape to try this design.
