Crystal Ball Beaded Bead
Crystal Ball Beaded Bead
The Crystal Ball beaded bead is hollow and completely self-supporting ball of seed beads interspersed with sparkly crystals. Woven using the geometry of the dodecahedron, this design uses a variation of the right angle weave technique combined with the circular peyote stitch (check out my free Candy Dodecahedron pattern for an introduction to dodecahedron beaded beads). Use one beaded bead as a dazzling solo pendant or as a focal bead in a larger necklace. This design can also be made into a miniature beaded ornament.
