Magic O Beaded Bead
Magic O Beaded Bead
Do you believe in magic? The Magic O Ball features two different colors and orientations of O beads, and combines these O beads with a lacy net of Japanese seed beads and sparkly chaton crystals into a tactile, dimensional pendant. This advanced design is constructed using the geometry of a dodecahedron; a structure with a total of 12 sides, one for each crystal (Check out my free Candy Dodecahedron pattern for an introduction to dodecahedron beaded beads). This large round ball of beadwork is very sturdy and completely self-supporting, and it makes for a spectacular statement pendant. Since the center of this design is completely hollow, it’s the perfect place to hide a special object... Use the Magic O Ball to enclose a secret note, a treasured heirloom bead, or a musical jingle bell!
