Stitch a colorful pendant using coiled CRAW! The Color Turbine pendant uses a unique version of cubic right-angle weave that forms twisted, coiled arms all radiating off of a central ring. This cheerful pendant features a whopping 12 colors of seed beads! Stitch this design in a rainbow color palette for a delightful take on the color wheel, or mix and match your favorite bead colors to come up with your own unique color combinations.

This pattern is appropriate for beaders who enjoy CRAW and who have the patience for stitching coiled CRAW in a very specific color pattern. If you're new to coiled CRAW, I recommend trying the Star Fragment Pendants before trying out this design. The pattern is complete with step-by-step instructions on how to weave the finished pendant.

Materials

To stitch this pendant, you'll need:

  • 15°, 11°, and 8° Japanese seed beads
  • Beading thread (6lb Fireline, KO, Miyuki beading thread, or One G)
