Double Swirls Necklace or Lariat
Double Swirls Necklace or Lariat
Stitch swirly beaded beads using two types of Tilas! The Double Swirls beaded beads feature Half Tila and Quarter Tila beads nestled in a network of seed beads that surround a round core bead. Use a quirky variation of peyote stitch to weave four different sizes of these beaded beads, and join them to twisted cubic right-angle weave (tCRAW) ropes to complement their spiraling motion. This pattern shows two different ways to string the beaded beads: either join them to the ends of a long lariat, or stitch them into a necklace with a matching beaded toggle clasp. You can also incorporate these beaded beads into bracelets or easy earrings!
