Stitch a flurry of paisley snowflakes! The Paisley Flurry pendant features several units of cubic and prismatic right-angle weave stitched (CRAW and PRAW) side-by-side. A specific seed bead embellishment swirls the negative spaces into stable paisley shapes. Use double prismatic right-angle weave (DPRAW) to bezel tiny flat back crystals that add sparkle and flourish to the complete design. Wear it to celebrate the winter, or hang it on your tree during the holidays!

This pattern is appropriate for beaders who are already proficient in cubic right-angle weave and who would like the challenge of combining individual CRAW and PRAW units together. Beaders who have stitched the Snowflake Pendant, Starcatcher Pendant, or the Peace and Double Hearts are in great shape to stitch this design.

Materials

To stitch this pendant, you'll need:

  • 6mm and 5mm (ss20 and ss30) flat back crystals
  • 15° and 11° and Japanese seed beads
  • Beading thread (6lb Fireline or S-lon Fire)
