The Peanut Gallery beaded bead shows off the unique shape of the peanut seed bead. This remarkably round beaded bead is woven entirely out of seed beads of several shapes and sizes, and does not require a round bead at its core for stability. This beaded bead is medium-sized, and it works well in both earrings and in intricate necklaces. Vary the shape of this beaded bead by selecting either round seed beads, magatamas, or drop-shaped seed beads for the center of each face of this tactile design.

Materials

To stitch this beaded bead, you'll need:

  • 3.4mm Miyuki drop beads or 3mm magatama beads
  • 2 by 4mm peanut seed beads
  • 15°, 11°, and 8° Japanese seed beads
  • Beading thread (6lb Fireline, KO, Miyuki beading thread, or One G)
