Sun Star Pendants
Sun Star Pendants
Create a festive collection of pendants with 2-hole beads! Each Sun Star beaded pendant features a different 2-hole bead; stitch this design with MiniDuos, Bars, or Crescents. Weave these 2-hole beads into a network of spiky embellishments covered with a lacy network of Japanese seed beads. String and wear this intricate design as a solo pendant, or use it as a focal for a stunning necklace!
This pattern is appropriate for beaders who are familiar with triangle weave and circular peyote and who would like to learn how to incorporate 2-hole beads into these techniques. Beaders who have stitched the Comet Trails Set or the Supernova Pendant are in great shape to try out this design, but previous experience with either of these designs is not required to create these pendants. The pattern includes detailed step-by-step instructions showing how to weave all three types of pendants. Combine this design with the components of the Comet Trails Set for even more possibilities.
